Product Review: Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivids Lipstick

Please excuse my blemishes, I was having a lazy day and could not be bothered applying any makeup other than the lipstick.

Hey y'all! Product review, exciting stuff!

So, this is the Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivids in Electric Orange that I bought around January? I kind of neglected it until I found it the other day and I decided to put it on! I love the colour, it's definitely quite bold which isn't really me but I decided to step out of my comfort zone a bit.

The lipstick can dry my lips out a bit but that could be because I hate wearing lip balm underneath. However, the pigmentation is brilliant and the colour lasts without needing any major touch-ups. When applying, one swipe gives a lot of opaque coverage which is fabulous as translucent lipstick is one of my pet hates. The packaging is very simplistic which drew me to it and I'm fairly certain it was a worthy purchase.

I have no clue where to find this lipstick in NZ [probably in a local pharmacy] but it's only £7.19 from Boots which is a pretty good price but I managed to grab mine at 7NZD which is about £3.50 so mine was definitely worth it.
